I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian if under 18), hereby grant East Bay Hackers and its organizers the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture my likeness during the East Bay Hackers Hackathon on December 6, 2025 at Samba TV HQ in San Francisco.

I authorize East Bay Hackers to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, or display these photos, videos, or recordings for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to event documentation, promotional materials, marketing content, social media, and educational resources.

I understand that these materials may be used without further notice, approval, or financial compensation. I waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of such media.

I release East Bay Hackers, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising out of or related to the use of my likeness.

General Liability Release Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the East Bay Hackers Hackathon on December 6, 2025, I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian if under 18), acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation is voluntary and may involve the use of computers, electronic equipment, tools, or other materials that carry inherent risks of injury or property damage.
I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of participating in the event, whether caused by my own actions, the actions of others, or the condition of the event premises or equipment.
I release, hold harmless, and discharge East Bay Hackers, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and facility hosts from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action related to personal injury, illness, property damage, or other loss arising from or connected to my participation.
I agree to follow all safety instructions, event rules, and guidance provided by staff and volunteers throughout the event.
