our events are generally open to high school students. specific eligibility requirements may be outlined on the event registration page. by registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
all participants are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct at all times. this includes, but is not limited to, respecting others, refraining from harassment, and complying with all instructions from event organizers.
you retain ownership of any intellectual property you create during the hackathon. however, by participating, you grant East Bay Hackers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your project for promotional purposes.
East Bay Hackers is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during the event. participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings. by attending, you agree to release and hold harmless East Bay Hackers from any and all liability.
East Bay Hackers reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. we will notify participants of any significant changes. continued participation after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
